We have immediate openings for Centrifugal Casting Operators for Level 1, 2, and 3.
CC Operator Level 1
Perform all job duties as a CC Operator Trainee independently.
Build emergency pig out sand cans.
Identify and process acceptable starter rods for casters.
How to read and use a micrometer.
CC Operator Level 2
Perform all job duties as a Level 1 CC Operator.
How to assemble die casings. (o-rings, water deflectors)
Identify proper die port conditions and patching of the die ports.
How to perform a hot patch while the furnace is hot.
Fill out required documentation for all operations that are performed daily.
Assemble dies and nozzles.
CC Operator Level 3
Perform all job duties as a Level 2 CC Operator.
Maximize run times to run all day.
Must be able to perform a proper set-up for all alloys.
Must be able to start a caster independently.
Must be able to adjust casting parameters.
Must be able to build a dome in the furnace.
Capable of running Rene-80 and GTD-111 independently.
Must understand the relevance and importance of the quality activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
Must adhere to and be knowledgeable of the various manufacturing procedures, specifications and work instructions associated with this job; including, but not limited to the procedures listed below:
1. Physical and chemical characteristics of metals
1. Use of calibrated measuring instruments
1. USNRC document 10CFR21 Reporting of Defects
1. Reporting False and Fraudulent information.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent for all new hires.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Basic arithmetic calculations.
