This position is responsible for directing and managing all financial duties for assigned location. Additionally this position contributes to the profitability of the company by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives. This position oversees assigned staff including setting objectives, providing back and evaluations.
Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and reports. Includes reviewing goods receipt/invoice receipt report on a monthly basis. Participates in monthly business review.
Prepares and submits annual business plans/budget, monthly forecasts and adhoc reports.
Reviews and approves all journal vouchers and account reconciliations. Posts and maintains the general ledger, and reconciles balance sheet accounts.
Organizes and coordinates cycle counts and physical inventories.
Ensures the accuracy of the ERP s master data and review MDR s.
Ensures accurate cost accounting including costing of new products, costing of existing products and reconciling manufacturing variances.
Plans, organizes and executes internal, external, self and government audits. Serves as liaison with government entities and applies for government funding where applicable.
Prepares and reviews profitability reports of existing products.
Reviews and releases credits issued by customer service
Reviews daily billings and margin analyses.
Fulfills requirements as and Authorized Signing Officer of the company reviewing EFT/ACH payments to vendors and employees.
Administers the pension plan (varies by location). Ensures adequate insurance coverage and file insurance claims.
Implements and maintains controls in adherence to corporate policies including SOX narratives and risk assessments.
Supports Sales & Purchasing by maintaining FCPS documentation databases.
Ensures payroll is processed accurately and on time. Remits all statutory deductions.
Supports EH&S policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, conserving resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed in support of Lincoln Electric s strategic plan and 2020 Vision.


Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting with a Master s preferred.
Certified Public Accounting License helpful.
Eight years practical accounting experience with three years in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Demonstrated supervisory experience required.
Experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Sarbanes Oxley Act and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Established MS Office skills with current ERP software, SAP and Hyperion Financial Management preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
