Our client in Huntington Beach is a family owned and operated company since 1973, is the world s largest manufacturer and supplier of vacuum bagging and composite tooling materials. They manufacture in Huntington Beach, California; Differdange, Luxembourg; Tianjin, China; and Chadderton, England . The company is ISO 9001: 2015 certified with AS9100 Rev D and is qualified to Boeing D6-82479 Rev E Appendix A. Their products are used in the aircraft/aerospace, wind power, marine, automotive, racing, solar energy and general composites industries. They also service the Printed Circuit Board Industry. They are looking for Machine Operators on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, which pays from $12.75-$13.50.


JOB SUMMARY:
Performs semiskilled work operating a variety of equipment and operations including four (4) of the following: sample preparation, extruders, unfolders, slitters, hose manufacturing, release agent preparations, perforators, bag machine, reprocessing unit, sealing equipment and sewn constructions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Obtains material for processing from inventory bins. Advises supervisor if damaged, defective or missing material is found.
  2. Performs machine set-ups according to standard procedures or work order plans provided by supervisor.
  3. Performs minor equipment maintenance and adjustments as necessary.
  4. Checks operating controls and safety stops on equipment prior to operating equipment.
  5. Must have legible handwriting skills.
  6. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
  7. Reviews work order / drawings and resolves conflicts.
  8. Produces and packs product manufactured per work order instructions during shift.
  9. Must be able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  10. Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
  11. Must have passed yearly forklift certification testing.
  12. Notifies supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
  13. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
