Production Electrical Technician

Company that designs and manufactures power electronic test solutions in need of Electrical Test Technician. Company has focused on test equipment for the transportation electrification and renewable energy markets. Focused on productions for government contracts.
Job Duties include (but not limited to):
Perform analog and digital circuit troubleshooting of high voltage AC/DC power supplies to the component level
Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment to the component level
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures
Diagnose and determine cause and remedy for defective assemblies, parts and/or components.
Performs functional testing of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
Notifies supervisor of increased trends in failures, product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Other job duties as assigned.
A minimum of 5 years related experience. Must be experienced with working with high voltage, high voltage power circuits and high power electronics.
Must be able to work from verbal and written instructions including blueprints, assembly layouts, wire lists, wiring diagrams and harness boards.
Understanding and experience with the following equipment: oscilloscopes, function generators, programmable power supplies, audio amplifiers, digital multi-meters and other high power test equipment.
Must be able to lift 45 lbs occasionally throughout the day.
Perform repetitive tasks
Solid understanding of basic electricity and electronic theory
Basic mechanical aptitude
Possess troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Schedule: M-F, 7: 30am-4: 30pm
