Job Description

We are seeking a QC Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Our company is an aerospace machine shop in a beautiful building right off Katella Ave. We are small but mighty with our commitments and our desire to exceed customer expectations. Our business is growing and we need qualified professionals to take us to the next level. This is a temp-to-hire position, and the pay rate is $25-$35 D.O.E.
Responsibilities:
  • Experience with AS9100 and ISO-9001 requirements
  • Preparing shipping documents and certificates of compliance
  • Performs reporting on internal audits and evaluations
  • Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
  • Manage non-conformance, corrective, and preventative actions
  • Work closely with other team members such as; Machinists and Production Coordinator
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other tasks needed in support of Shop Manager & Operations Manager
? Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Ability to use inspection tools to perform thorough examinations
  • Prior experience or willingness to learn how to operate CMM
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bi-lingual Spanish would be an asset but not required
