Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, control relays, circuit breakers, drives, power supplies, on chassis panel.
Connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Cuts wire to specified lengths and Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points.
Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Experienced preferred, willing to train if limited knowledge
Knowledgeable at installing wire labels and device tags
Work with all types of FAB shop power tools and there uses etc.
Proficient at Reading and understanding tape measures (Metric and Standard)
Able to Read and identity colors on wires
Proficient at reading Mechanical and Electrical drawings with minimum assistance
Proficient of Reading and identifying wire gauges and colors on all wires
Understand wire gauges, ampacities and their uses.
Assistance may be required during some builds too complete
Able to work alone, Minimum training may be required during projects
Limited ability to recognize hardware components with in a control system.
Limited Understanding of what a PLC, VFD, Circuit breakers etc. Are and what their roles are in the control system
Understand and know the differences between NEMA ratings of enclosures
Able to work with different styles of wire labels and device tags
