Shipping/Receiving Departments.
  • Warehouse Associate is a vital part of the supply chain quality process internally and externally.
  • Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials. Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions.
  • Responsible for supporting all warehouse operations and ensuring accurate and timely move transactions for Order Fulfillment
  • Pulls, packs, inspects and ships customer orders
  • Follows established processes and ensures TQ (Touch Quality)
  • Sorts and organizes inventory
  • Participates in Cycle Count Program
  • Utilizes material handling equipment
  • Supports 5 S and Safety Programs. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as Sales Orders, Purchase Orders,
  • Bills of Lading and other reports.

Basic computer skills
  • Ability to deal with issues and resolve them with assistance when needed.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills so as to be able to get along with all personnel.
  • Must be willing and able to work as part of a team.
  • Possess good organizational and coordinating abilities.
  • Must be able to multi-task and place priorities in an orderly manner.
  • Forklift Certification a plus.
  • Must have good judgment and decision-making abilities. A concrete and verifiable knowledge of shipping and/or logistics procedure.
